Building and scaling teams across time zones
KPIs and dashboards that produce decisions
Replacing manual workarounds with process that holds
We work with Companies across sizes and sectors. The common thread is a business at an inflection point that needs experienced operators. Between us, we've run P&Ls and product organizations, led turnarounds, rebuilt platforms, moved companies onto recurring revenue, and reported to Boards, most of it in businesses that had to change while continuing to serve customers.
Ted Leonard
Executive Leadership
Ted works at the executive and Board level stabilizing businesses through transition, fixing the economics, and repositioning a Company for whatever comes next.
"Strategy was a strength, not disaster."
Ted is a transformational CEO and enterprise operator with deep experience modernizing and scaling businesses. His background spans both CEO and CFO leadership, with strengths in operational rigor, product evolution, strategic repositioning, recurring revenue growth, and Board-level leadership.
As CEO of Photobucket, he has led the Company's evolution from a declining legacy internet brand into a financially disciplined, subscription-driven business, repositioning the platform for long-term growth around private sharing and community engagement.
He specializes in helping organizations navigate periods of transformation, modernization, and accelerated growth - the stretch where the old operating model no longer works and the new one isn't built yet.
Where Ted helps:
Transition stabilization: steadying a business through change in ownership, leadership, or direction
Subscription economics: pricing, retention, and the mechanics of recurring revenue
Turnaround and growth acceleration
The finance and strategy bridge: making the plan and the P&L agree with each other
Board-level leadership: the reporting, the relationships, and the hard conversations
Ted lives in Edwards, Colorado with his family. He's an avid skier and mountain biker, and golfs, hikes, hunts, and spends a good share of the year watching his two sons compete on the mountain and the lacrosse field. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a BA from Hamilton College.
Katharine Leonard
Product Leader
Katharine helps decide what to build next, and building the organization that can actually ship it.
Katharine is a product leader who builds the engine, not just the roadmap. She helps businesses figure out what to build next, and then builds the organization that can actually ship it.
Good product leadership is equal parts vision and plumbing. You need a process people can repeat back to you, and a machine that turns it into shipped software. Katharine has built both - most recently spending six months rebuilding a 23-year-old photo platform into something people want to share with each other.
Katharine works from Gibson Biddle's DHM model: delight customers, in hard-to-copy, margin-enhancing ways. Every roadmap has to answer all three, or it doesn't ship.
Where Katharine helps:
Product strategy that survives contact with real engineering capacity: a roadmap bulit for the team you have
A working PDLC, discovery through retro: standing one up where none exists, and making it how work actually moves
Pricing and plan strategy for free and subscription models
Analytics that produce decisions: turning scattered data into KPIs leadership can act on and defend
Katharine is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with an MBA from Colorado State University and a BA from Hamilton College.
